Do Not Disturb

By Frida McFadden

Book Rating: 3 out of 5 boozy stars

If you've been keeping up with my book reviews and what I've been reading so far this year, then you might be noticing a trend. Do Not Disturb is the 6th Freida McFadden novel I have read this year [and it won't be the last]. Of the Freida McFadden books I have read so far, Do Not Disturb is getting the lowest star rating. I did not give Do Not Disturb 3 stars because the book wasn't good, but because it was the book I enjoyed the least thus far.

In my opinion, this was not the best of Freida's work, but it was still well written and entertaining. The book was interesting enough that it kept me reading through the night to finish it. My reason for reading it so quickly was not because I was curious about what was going to happen in the end. Instead, I needed to finish the book to verify if my guess at the plot twist was correct or not. It was. Unlike the other Freida books I have read, I feel like the twist in Do Not Disturb was kind of obvious. I also feel like there weren't any characters in the book that you were really rooting for or even really liked until the very end.

If someone asked me for a Freida McFadden recommendation, I would not recommend Do Not Disturb. Now, if someone was choosing between Do Not Disturb and another author's book, then I would tell them to read Do Not Disturb.

I solely picked this drink because of it's name. It just fits so well. Read the book and you'll hate Derek too!
